"Great experience at VooSwar because of the fun vibes, friendly staff and super affordable, yummy food. We visited on Wednesday - wing night. $10 for 10 wings and fries. I had mine breaded with garlic parm and we also tried naked with Cajun ranch. Both were delicious and I'd eat either again; it's nice they offered two cooking styles and both wing variations were fresh and hot. The generous portion of fries reminded my Aussie bf of legit chips - he described them as crispy outside with a mashed-potato-like middles. I prefer a thinner fry, but these were well seasoned and yummy. Louis, the super friendly proprietor, was playing whatever tunes patrons wanted and ensured we had a great meal and a good time. Louis shared in addition to 10 for $10 Wednesday wing nights, they have a chicken sandwich special on Tuesday and pork chop special on Thursday. Every Friday and Saturday they have live music. Two additional pluses that I appreciate were the under-bar-hooks for purses and the generous charging station on the bar - I needed to add some battery and they accommodated for free! VooSwar also had 3 pool tables, a ping pong table and TouchTunes. You can really have a fun night here. Vooswar has been around since 1963!!! (Louis' dad opened the place) If you're visiting the beach, Hanna park, or seeing friends around Mayport, VooSwar is a great hang where your wallet and stomach will thank you! We'll definitely be back."

"Went here for a Christmas party. Gave all the guest something to do! Pool tables and served lunch. Consisted of pulled smoked turkey, chicken wings, chicken tenders, fried shrimp and fries with salad. Food was very good! Staff was super friendly. Ample sitting areas in front and back of area with easy parking."

"Great place with a ton of history. we went here out for my birthday and it was nothing but great. The Boogie Freaks were playing and that's one of my wife's favorite bands and they were exceptional this evening. Had some wings and they were top-notch. The bartenders were fantastic and very friendly and conversational. If you are in the area and you have never been here you should give it a try. We definitely will be back.. This is a great place."

"First time at VooSwar. Pretty cool spot. Some of the "locals" aren't so friendly but some of them are super kind. I guess if they "heard" about you from someone that hasn't been in your circle for 15 years they come to conclusions without ever getting to know you. Odd but i had a blast with the people that didn't "know" me already!!! Will be back :)"

"I've been here a few times now and the food has been consistently good. Fried okra and wings are on point! The live music always hi energy and fun. Lewis is great. The only complaint is the bartender B, this lady will not smile with or at us at all, she has the capacity to do so bc I've seen her do it with others but she's a dead pan face when it comes to me and my friend. She also free pours cocktails without a pour spout , not a fan of that."

"Some places in the world just have good vibes, and this is one of them. They have live music every weekend, good drink specials, and so many great murals! And of course there is the light up dance floor!"
